Okay, the day I never thought in a million years would come is here. The day I recommend all-inclusive hotels in Croatia, or anywhere for that matter.
I’m usually much more of a stay in a hut on a deserted beach kind of person. But I have to admit, chilling at an all-inclusive resort on an island after days of exploring busy Dubrovnik, was an absolute treat.
So with a newfound appreciation for a lazy vacay, naturally I did a lot of research on the best value all-inclusive hotels and resorts Croatia has to offer. And I thought I would share my findings with you!

Article overview
Is all-inclusive in Croatia a good idea?
The reason why I have been against all-inclusive is because I think it’s so sad to travel to a new place and barely see the outside of the hotel or resort. I know we all need a good rest from time to time, but I thinks it’s also important to combine an all-inclusive experience with some exploration.
Croatia is incredibly beautiful and distances aren’t too bad, so you can easily go on day trips and excursions even when staying at an all-inclusive. So yes, I would say it is a good idea. Especially if you’re a family, as some of these resort offer many activities for all ages.
Spending four nights in Dubrovnik and then three nights at an all-inclusive was the perfect mix. We got to see all the top sights without feeling rushed and then spend some time on the beach and relax.
Best all-inclusive hotels Croatia
After researching all the all-inclusive properties in Croatia, I have chosen my favorite 5 based on the value they offer. I like to be comfortable in a beautiful space, but I also appreciate a good deal.
I’m starting this list south in Dubrovnik and making my way up north.
TUI BLUE Kalamota Island Resort
I got a great deal on this adults-only TUI BLUE hotel for the end of the season. Only because Booking.com sent it to me (I recommend signing up for their free loyalty program). We paid only €450 for three nights in a seaview room.
Sine we didn’t book through TUI we had to make our own way to the hotel from the ferry. Which wasn’t a problem, the walk only took a few minutes.
The hotel sits in a calm cove on a small sandy beach, with rooms in several buildings on a hillside. The rooms, although light and bright, could do with a little sprucing up. We got lucky with our room that boasted beautiful views.
I was really impressed but the food, although I read mixed reviews. They had a lot of great vegetable options, which I often find is lacking from buffets. You can easily take the 30-minute ferry to Dubrovnik for the day to explore.

Pine Beach Pakostane
If you need to disconnect and just relax in nature, this high-end summer camp meets all-inclusive resort is the place to be. I just had to include it because it offers such a unique experience, although it is not for everyone.
Located 36 km south of Zadar, just outside Pakoštane, the resort sits on the most beautiful sandy beach in the area. Yes, I said sand. Which is not easy to come by in Croatia.
You can choose between rustic bungalows and their new premium two-bedroom glamping homes. As it befits a true Adriatic Eco Resort, the bungalows are made exclusively of natural materials and constructed in a way that provides natural ventilation. Also, they have no electricity except for a light.

Can I save money staying in all-inclusive hotels in Croatia?
Staying in all-inclusive hotels in Croatia can indeed save you money, especially if you take advantage of all the amenities and services included in the package.
Of course, it will depend on your usual budget. To give you an idea, here are what we spent while staying in an amazing apartment in Dubrovnik for three days compared to all-inclusive.
We paid €750 for accommodation, and an average of €25 per person on restaurant meals and €15 per person for takeout. So all in we spent €1128 during three days in Dubrovnik for two people.
As mentioned above, we got a great deal on three days at an all-inclusive in Dubrovnik for €450. The only thing we bought was some chocolate before we got on the ferry. We got to use sunbeds for free, while on Banje Beach in Dubrovnik we were quoted €60 for two beds and a parasol in October.
So yes, you can definitely save by staying in an all-inclusive hotel. To get the best deal possible, book at least three months in advance and go for the shoulder seasons of May/June and October.
